Old Business:

None

New Business:

·         Mr. Rakowski updated the members about the disaster drill scheduled for Apr 19 2008. He stated that the drill would begin at 1000 and that all tenants would be receiving notification in the afternoon of Friday April 18th.

·         Mr. Rakowski informed the members about the recently completed FAA Airport certification Safety Inspection. He told the members that the few discrepancies noted were due to the ongoing construction project.

·         Mr. Rakowski presented a security video titled Suicide Bomber.

Member Input:

Mr. Rinn asked about the aircraft that has been flying over Hagerstown for the past few days. Mr. Rakowski informed him that the aircraft was conducting aerial surveys. All questions about the aircraft are forwarded to the Airport Director.

Mr. Dentler clarified that his question about gate speed at last quarter’s meeting was misunderstood. He was speaking about the length of time that it takes the gate to start the closing cycle, not the length of time to actually close the gate. Mr. Rakowski thanked Mr. Dentler for the clarification and told him that the Maintenance Supervisor has set the gate at its optimum settings for all functions.

The next Safety/Security council meeting will be held on Thursday, October 16,, 2008 at 15:00 in the airport conference room.

Respectfully submitted,

Ed Rakowski, ACEurity Coordinator
