Our
Chapter's greatest thrill is the ability to hold two
full-blown fly-ins per year. We hold the annual
Hagerstown Fly-in during the late summer of each
year.
In
addition to being a traditional fly-in event with
good food and friends, both events also invite
members of the local community, who are interested
in aviation, to join us and share our love of
flying. These people have thousands of questions, to
which we, many times have the answers. In this
respect, a courteous answer to a sincere question,
may be just the thing which opens the door to the
world of aviation for a future member of EAA
Chapter 36.
If
anyone has even considered building their own
aircraft, we invite them to ask us about our
"Technical Counselor and Flight Advisor" programs.
We invite all inquiries, as that is the number one
reason for our fly-ins. |
